Loved the acting. It was grounded and direct. These actors are dedicated craftspeople and guide you reliably every step of the way through a lean, muscular adaptation of Hedda. It’s hot, it’s up close and personal, it’s THEATRE.
I also thought the scenic and lighting design were understated and yet deeply immersive. They do a lot with a little. It really sweeps you away.
What I didn't like
Nothing to speak of, this is a remarkably well done play!
My overall impression
This was a truly excellent interpretation of Ibsen’s classic done with style, verve, and guts. It’s not to be missed!
