The line delivery and the commitment to each role by the actors was seriously fantastic. My favorite in this was George Tesman, the actor that played him was hilarious in every scene and it was truly entertaining to watch him to play through the emotions of jealousy, surprise, and blind happiness.
What I didn't like
The only thing that threw me off was the lack of continuity with the accents. It was easier to ignore as we moved through the play and we had established all the characters in the story but at first (especially from someone who’s not familiar with the original) it was difficult with the mix of (I think?) Irish, British and American. It might have been better to have the whole ensemble stick to one!
My overall impression
This play was my first in LA and it was amazing! Every moment of this was entertaining, hilarious and shocking. Each actor was perfect for their role and truly gave it their all in their performance — I felt transported to the world of Hedda Gabler!
