What I liked

The veneer of a therapeutic presentation cracks so subtly and hilariously until the dam breaks. Smart and surprising humor is the best kind of humor.

My overall impression

This show is an irreverent satire of capitalistic exploitation with so many wildly hilarious moments. It rings true as a comedy dealing with a dark subject in a dark, cynical time, and yet it’s ultimate point of view is one of profound joy and discovery. The agony and the ecstasy of the grieving process are in great hands with Kathleen Leary, who puts her full self into a roller coaster performance that includes song, incredible wit, and revelatory dance.
