I especially loved the switch at the end. She does a good job of creating a character who’s at first unlikable, but once the illusion is shattered and she shows her true self, it brings the show together in a nice conclusion. The lesson? Just be real, people! Quick fixes don’t cure what ails you.

My overall impression
A fun exploration of grief and those “life strategists” & “inspirational speakers” who attempt to exploit people going through it. As serious as the subject matter is, it’s more about those who attempt to take advantage of those struggling and how, secretly, they may be going through it themselves. The turn at the end is well earned and Kathleen was a delight to watch.
