What I liked
The word search, cardboard cutout, and advertisements for seemingly endless products set up the presentation excellently. The movements in the “stages of grief” had me cackling.
What I didn't like
I wanted even more moments of Adelaide grieving her grandmother and letting the emotions burst!
My overall impression
A fun exploration of grief and how swiftly we are asked to process emotions under capitalism. Leary is a masterful performer who commands the room.
