I so appreciated that the play moved along with efficiency and knew how long it wanted to be. The length was perfect for the emotional arc and setup. I think the conceit is super fun, but I was surprised how grounded it was. I was expecting an absurdist QVC sales pitch, and while I got elements of that, I really believed Kathleen’s performance and belief in her character’s products; it was clear that this character needed these products to work to settle her own grief.

My overall impression
This play was so utterly engaging. Kathleen is a fun and captivating performer whose connection with the audience was remarkable. The writing is so clever and surprised me with how grounded it was. The direction was subtle but extremely clear. It was apparent that a deft hand choreographed the event – between Kathleen’s gestures and the interaction with projections. It was just a great time!
