The originality. The performance. The really clever way the show highlights the messiness of grief through humor. I loved seeing the cracks through the veneer of this very “polished” grief expert. It was just such a fun and interesting show.
What I didn't like
I could have watched even more, there’s room to expand sections, but it’s also so tight, that I don’t think it needs it either.
My overall impression
Grief Box is smart, it’s funny, it’s touching, it’s original. It’s really everything you want from a fringe show. Kathleen Leary delivers a performance that is equally moving and hilarious and the speed at which she can switch between the two will leave you impressed and delighted. I cannot recommend this show more! Go! I promise you’ll be glad you saw this one.
