What I liked

The dark humor really was relatable and hilariously done.

My overall impression

Grief Box is a one woman show that hits all the right notes. Kathleen Leary brilliantly blends humor and heart, turning her personal journey through loss into something hilariously relatable yet deeply moving. Her storytelling is sharp and witty, making you laugh out loud at the absurdities of the characters “mourning process” while also tearing up at the real and poignant moments. With a minimal set that lets her shine, this show is a perfect reminder that even in our darkest times, we can find light and laughter. It’s a must-see for anyone who’s experienced loss or just loves a good, heartfelt performance, not to mention a fabulous Aussie accent.
