The songs! The tenderness! The commentary on how LA has made us so self conscious about our normal bodies.
Having seen Bulletproof Unicorn, this feels like a trajectory up from similar source material and that Stacie had really baked with these ideas while living them.
What I didn't like
NOT A CALLFORIMPROVEMENT, THISSITE IS MAKING ME PUTTINGSOMETHINGHERE…. The final image of the show behind the keyboard could maybe be blocked so you are higher up or be a little more dramatic because you are a little buried behind there. Also, I messaged you about this but I need to know about those cat boot stuffers and I think other audiences will be like “What is that?” so it’s a quick acknowledgement if you can.
My overall impression
Enjoyable, vulnerable, funny! It’s so fun to see Stacie singing and playing piano, and glimpse the Mommy Tok era which I missed in her career.
