What I liked
Stacie’s ability to be so present and truthful
in the moment and yet hilarious all at once is kind of mind blowing in the best possible way.
Her songs are timed and placed so perfectly, the melodies and lyrics alternately whimsically ironic, or gorgeously poignant straight from the heart.
I was amazed at how brilliantly she incorporated latecomers into the show, welcoming them (not shaming), not kidding a best and able to milk ever more humor in the moment.
What I didn't like
Apparently not all the props had arrived because of a traffic issue, but who knew? Stacie was even was able mine that with hilarity.
My overall impression
Stacie Burrows is a pure delight.
How she had been suffering so many physical and emotional challenges and yet recount these experiences so hilariously is truly masterful. Yet seemed effortless.
I swear my stomach hurt from laughing so much. Yes, there were tears from the heart, quickly followed by tears of laughter.
This show is brilliant and showcases her infinite talent. This is a must see.
