What I liked

I loved the writing, I am such a fan of Cheyanne Marie Washington and her perspective.

SPOILERS

In the first round I loved Linda’s monologue about how “no one is innocent” it blasted me back to the flashback moment between teenpregant Linda and her mom, showing me that Sadie was a product of generational trauma.

The second time watching I noticed the line where Linda says to Sadie that she has anger issues and she gets it from her mother
Foreshadowing how their uncontrollable bursts of anger end up being their downfall.

As far as all the other characters, I think everyone had a believable perspective, the story doesn’t choose to SIDE with Sadie’s family or anyone else. It shows everyone truly can make the wrong choice and cause tragedy whether trying to be involved or not.

What I didn't like

I would have loved if there was an announcement letting people know to feel free to react and cheer before hand, the first show I saw audience was very quiet because it seemed no one knew the proper etiquette for this Dancical but the second show I saw on the last show I was happy to see everyone was ready to cheer out loud especially for the dancing which deserved all the hype 👏🏼

My overall impression

Captivating dancing, GREAT writing, enthralling story. Cheyanne Marie Washington is someone to look out for. This had me out loud laughing, gasping, cheering out loud even screamed when the climax went down. Rollercoaster story in the best way. Great work to the cast and crew 👏🏼
