I liked the storytelling of this show. Of course being a cognizant human, I’m keenly aware of the events of the 2016 election. This show does a great job of telling the story of that tumultuous time and how Matt felt he was to blame for those results. I like the direction by Aysha Wax and how she helped bring out a rousing performance that was funny, heartfelt, and gut-wrenching, top to bottom.
What I didn't like
The only note I have is better volume control and balance for the video clips that played during the show. Sometimes they were too loud, and some times they were too quiet.
My overall impression
This show is a revelation and a triumph! Matt Lieberman shines in this one man show about his guilt over the 2016 and takes the audience on an extremely compelling journey. I was impressed by his wit, his humor, and his humility and I encourage every Fringe festival patron to go see it.
