The cast was fantastic. The doctor actor was my favorite. Unique concept for sure!
What I didn't like
The songs didn’t do much for me. The script felt like it had potential but it felt like a first draft in a lot of ways. I didn’t like that all the antagonist characters were queer coded, it just felt a bit uncomfortable.
My overall impression
Honestly it didn’t do much for me. The cast was fantastic they all did a really great job. However the script didn’t really make much sense. I felt like several messages the show wanted to spread ended up contradicting themselves in the end. I didn’t really enjoy the music, most of it sounded very ‘samey’ although the actual singing was well done. I also found it odd that every single antagonist character was queer-coded. It seemed like an off choice and if it wasn’t a specific choice that feels uncomfortable as well. I also feel like a few of the antagonist characters could have been consolidated into one character. Again, great cast though (the doctor actor was especially funny and enjoyable to watch).
