What I liked

Direction and choreography filled the space and was a feast for the eyes.

A couple very catchy tunes! “Rabbit Queen” in particular is a bop. And my personal favorite, “C in the P”. I don’t want to spoil it!

Actors were clearly having a blast playing these characters.

What I didn't like

Some of the transitions were long and the lighting was tough, but that could also be a byproduct of Fringe and the lack of time to finesse the space to your show. I hope that gets sorted!

It was hard to hear the actors during the songs. Again, the balance of canned music to actors without mics is a casualty of Fringe. I know there were so many more brilliant lyrics that I missed.

My overall impression

I knew about this story going in after listening to an episode of The Dollop podcast, so I was excited to see how it would be turned into a musical. It did not disappoint! Clever, wild, outlandish, funny, and even at times quite poignant. Over the top characters kept us in stitches throughout. Great use of the space. So well directed. I had a blast!
