What I liked

Tons of catchy songs.

A fun book.

Everyone’s performances were dialed in and on the same page. A true ensemble.

What I didn't like

They do have some issues with sound balance. The space + non-mic’d singers competing with amplified tracks means we lose a lot of the words. Luckily the performers sell the shit out of it so we still had a great time.

My overall impression

THE RABBIT QUEEN asks “what would Tina Landau’s Monty Python Feminist Farce” look like?

The answer is a shocking amount of fun.

I won’t spoil the surprises in the story, but if my girlfriend’s REPEATED gasps of shock over the 90 min show are any indication, this will completely disarm and delight you.

Catchy tunes, lyrical barbs, huge bold performances.

A Fringe standout!!
