What I liked
This is a fully mounted original musical that in the most humorous vein captures the spirit of the 1700s through song, dance, staging and characters whose message is as relevant today as in the time of play. The tale of what women must do to prove their worthiness is not lost on us in today’s world. Energetic and enthusiastic cast!
What I didn't like
N/A. I applaud Color and Light Theatre Ensemble for all that was put into mounting this show -- and the rabbit!
My overall impression
WOW! Such a tremendous effort to stage a large ensemble original musical for the HFF! Director Joanna Syiek brought together a talented cast to tell this tale of Mary Taft and her efforts to go down in ‘herstory’. So much has been put into the staging of this musical – IMPRESSIVE! Highly recommend – Be sure to meet the Rabbit Queen.
