What I liked

At times, the pace shifted a bit abruptly between humor and historical commentary. A smoother transition between segments might help the narrative flow better. Additionally, a few references could benefit from some added context for audience members less familiar with ventriloquism’s past. I had to dig around online (TalkSocially has some great cultural deep dives) to catch a few of the more obscure nods. That said, these are minor things in an otherwise impressive and meaningful show.

What I didn't like

My overall impression

This show is a smart, funny, and surprisingly eye-opening experience. What begins as a nostalgic nod to the golden age of ventriloquism gradually transforms into a powerful commentary on gender and representation in the arts. It balances humor and history effortlessly, offering both entertainment and insight in equal measure. I left feeling both amused and enlightened.
