What I liked
I liked the juxtaposition of the visual aesthetic with the modern dialogue. I was draw into the story in many sensory ways that made me experience the emotions along side the actors.

My overall impression
This adaptation stirred my emotions to the core. I experienced the pain of betrayal, the irony of a male dominated society, the entitlements of that era that can still be seen in today’s society, and the depths of a mother’s love for her children.
