Brett is incredibly charming and does excellent crowd work. Personally I loved how he demonstrated how baseball has worked its way into our popular culture in ways most people never think about.
Also, his history lesson on Buck O’Neill and the Negro Leagues is something everyone should see whether they are a baseball fan or not.
What I didn't like
Quite frankly I can’t say anything can be improved. It’s just a stellar show.
My overall impression
Brett has done it again! Brett’s first version of this back at the 2019 Fringe was one of the most memorable experiences of the Fringe for me that year and I’ve told so many people about it since. I was very excited to see he was back to do another one. This one was even better and it dove into a more serious area yet was still able to maintain the fun, whimsical nature that the show goes for because that’s what baseball is all about. It was terrific!
