I liked the personal atmosphere of being in a small audience in a coffee shop. I was also particularly impressed by the crews ability to transform mundane objects into fantastic creatures and settings. They work really well together and you can tell they all truly enjoy the show.
What I didn't like
The only thing we had a hard time with was being able to hear everything clearly, since no one is miked.
My overall impression
The Hunting of the Snark presented for the Hollywood Fringe Festival was exactly what it was always meant to be, whimsical, energetic, and blurring the line between danger, adventure, and comedy! It was the perfect family show, from the rations (lollipops) and bubbles, to the contagious joy of the crew, engaging littles and grown ups alike in this fast paced, classical literary experience. I can’t wait to see it again!
