Lots of laughs for funny and specific characters that you could easily imagine in any school setting. The dialogue felt more natural and real than much of the dialogue in teen shows I’ve seen before. What I loved was the choreographed fight ballet. That was an inventive gift to give the audience.
What I didn't like
I was very happy with what the show gave. Even if a line was flubbed, which happened rarely, the actors handled it with really natural delivery and made it work. Maybe I wouldn’t mind simple printed programs. Though that’s mean to trees.
My overall impression
Queen Bee was a delightful ensemble teen dramedy that took me back to middle school days but with an entirely different generation. The show explored interpersonal dynamics as the girls are subjected to a lockdown, something my generation never dealt with.
