Kaitlyn transitions seamlessly between characters. You could poke her imagination with your finger, it’s so palpable in the room; she looks at something, and before she’s described what she’s imagining that she’s seeing, you see it. The way she manages the space on the stage and her scene partner the bear throughout the show was pretty genius. The main character’s stylized way of speaking flowed out of her mouth so effortlessly… She’s worked incredibly hard to make it look as easy as she makes it look.
What I didn't like
Let’s get her in a bigger space with more seats so more people can see this show and so she has room to breathe.
My overall impression
Kaitlyn is a tornado of smiles and giggles and innocence and MASSIVEFORMIDABLEPOWER. If you dream of doing solo theater one day see this artist and bring a pen. Take copious notes. This is how it’s done.
