What I liked
The story of Blue and her bear is charming and offers a sly way to comment on the prejudices of others she randomly encounters. I thoroughly enjoyed the multiple interactions Schiller portrays and how each person reveals their own personal issues by actions they take.
What I didn't like
It’s the blessing and curse of Fringe shows… pacing! I wish this show could have had a more leisurely pace to allow the various scenes to unfold more slowly. Schiller packs so much into this piece!!! I wish I could have known slightly more about the final emotional place of the main character.
My overall impression
Katelyn Schiller is a performer of bold emotion and intense grace. A master at creating characters with a simple gesture or shift in posture or voice, it’s a delight to see her manifest the variety of townsfolk she encounters on this journey.
