The comedy and drama was so fluid. Jokes didn’t feel as if they tug or nudge you when it was time to laugh, they just came up naturally and rolled into the next action. The set pieces overall were minimal, but it allowed for the room to “expand”.
What I didn't like
Some lines were tough to hear, I’m not sure if a lav would’ve helped. The only other note would be different musical cues for changing scenery so you knew what setting you were entering.
My overall impression
A delightful show that balances comedic and dramatic pieces well. Some of the cast have multiple characters they play, and carry each in such a manner that it feels as if you didn’t see them in a different costume on stage a few moments ago. The characters play off one another so naturally as well and seeing this show in such an intimate venue was a treat.
