What I liked
I don’t want to blow any spoilers but I love shows that surprise me and this one did. This was a show about true intimacy and all the ways it manifests and how beautiful it can be. I also love love love the vibrator having a full blown midlife crisis. Chefs kiss.
What I didn't like
This was an excellent show, and only the preview. I’m sure as the run progresses the transitions between scenes will naturally tighten up as they practice handling the space and that’s my only note. Which is saying something.
My overall impression
Imaginative, bold, irreverent and honest writing with a stellar cast and clever and focused direction. The pacing of each scene was excellent, the performances were disarming and grounded and they deftly navigated some moments that could have been hard to pull off with lesser actors.
