What I liked
Emerson Boatwright as the drunken mayor, Lucas Alicante as Bigfoot, Shelby Miguel as whacky conspirator Joanne, and Jeff Scot Carey as Mr. Doctor were hilarious standouts with the ensemble keeping the energy electric throughout the entire show. I heard an ensemble member was out sick and you absolutely could not tell with how professional this cast was in covering.
What I didn't like
Without the energy and commitment of the cast, this show would be rough as the book and the lyrics are a bit messy in some parts. STILL: it’s a great ride!
My overall impression
Catchy score, funny dialogue, and incredible energy from the cast make for a wonderfully fun musical ride.
