The performances across the board were spectacular from the lovable oaf Bigfoot, to the smartest man in town Mr Dr, to the sloshed up self-serving mayor, and the paranoid woods lady. The entire ensemble was high energy and packed a very entertaining story with hilarious practical effects into their performance. I particularly love the singing woodland puppets and the running montage through the woods with the stick puppeteers.
What I didn't like
The backing music could definitely come down to better hear the singing. I was seated third row and sometimes had trouble hearing the words of the solos over the music. Personally I wish the towns people got to interact with Bigfoots character a little more to pay of the ending and make it extra heartfelt.
My overall impression
MudDirt, MudDirt! A laugh out-loud offbeat and original musical!
