What I liked

Mud Dirt Mud Dirt! This play had me from the opening song. Especially when I noticed the Mayor doing the choreo slightly askew, revealing that he was drinking a flask the whole time (perfect for the character as a whole, I would soon find out). Excellent performances all around. Funny songs, Perfect use of space and clever use of props. You gotta catch this one

What I didn't like

I felt a little uncomfortable with so much of the joke being (imo) punching down at poor southerners.. but if you can get over that ole trope, you’ll find yourself laughing just as hard as the rest of em. storywise, there’s were two specific jokes (the slap and the coughing/dying) with the mom character that got a little overdone in the middle, ultimately lessening their punchlines at the end. That said, well acted & sung all around. Might just be a pacing issue for me
