About the Project

PARLOUR GAMES has our final show (Friday) June 21th 10:30PM at @Broadwater Theater (Second Stage)
The reviews for PARLOUR GAMES are in:

“A unique, savy, darkly humorous unexpected sibling relationship. I was at the edge of my seat!”

“Very clever, hilarious and offbeat comedy with wonderful performances and a fantastic twist!”

“Engaging & well acted. I was immediately taken by the story and all of its taboo subject matter.”

“Entertaining and funny, great acting on all parts.”

“What a fantastic show! Very unsettling, funny, light, scary, comedic and all the good things you want! “

In this absurdist comedy, a woman and her significant other return to her ancestral home where her eccentric sister has planned a night of fun and games that soon turns lethal when a time-honored family tradition is revealed.

Three-person absurdist comedy that turns macabre. In the vein of Albee, Genet, Pinter. Splash of Tennessee Williams and Flannery O’Connor.

She spends most of her free time trying to cook, working through her stack of unread books and loving her scruffy, obnoxious little dog, Pete.

Garrett Edell (Jim) is proud to take the stage for his second Fringe play. He grew up in Southern California and attended UC Berkeley graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering. He started up at UCLA extension with the intention to pursue a PhD in physics but chose instead to take an acting class. Since then he has had multiple roles on stage, film and television including FX’s American Crime Story. He has a leading role in the Hallmark feature Moonlight Bay to be released later this year. Garrett enjoys playing beach volleyball and making music on his guitar. He’s gratefully repped by Fran Blain of Blain and Associates and thanks all his family and friends for their continued support.

Elena  Afanasiev (Bebe) is a skilled actor, director, and improviser with over 15 years of experience. She holds a BA in Theater Arts and is a first-generation immigrant.
