What I liked
The music, the humor, Karen’s true telling of her life story. Exceptional work.
What I didn't like
The only thing I had an issue with was the spoken portions reaching the farthest corner of the space. I’m not sure how one fixes that in a Fringe-type situation.
My overall impression
Oh, my goodness. What a show. Karen lets her virtuoso musicianship and her clown skills mix with a vulnerability that tells a story that is funny, moving, and even heart-rending. D&G receives a lot of praise and all of it is deserved.
