What I liked

This show was amazingly done. I knew nothing going in other than cello and clown show, and I was very satisfied with what I saw.

Karen’s skillful playing would have been worth the attendance on its own, but the well-timed comedy and relatable anecdotes about being a professional musician made me all the more glad I came. (I was keeping a mental checklist of the supplies she pulled out of her bag – check to all of them!)

The emotion and existential message in the show was relatable from my own perspective as a musician. Karen’s lived experience proved to be similar to my own (the funny parts as well as the tragic), and anyone who has been involved in performing arts should take the chance to see this show!

My overall impression

I wasn’t expecting to cry at a cello clown show…
