The show was incredibly well done, every element was well crafted and stuck with you. From pulling seeming endless pieces of salmon from pockets to the remarkably accurate portrayal of anxiety and loneliness, Carter kept attention of the entire audience effortlessly. And not to mention, the show was educational, I left knowing more about Kodiak bears than I ever thought I would, and what I learned stuck with me after the show, something some of my previous educators could take a lesson in. A beautiful show, I almost cried twice.
What I didn't like
I cannot think of any way to improve upon this masterpiece. The only thing I wish was different was I wish I was in a crowded theater of people experiencing the show with me, I have recommended it to everyone I’ve seen.
My overall impression
Carter Talks About Kodiak Bears was the best show I’ve seen during this festival. Every moment was carefully crafted to educate, but still evoked a beautiful emotional feeling that felt very comforting and human. The presence of Roger the Teddy Bear was a powerful motif that kept you locked in to the more sentimental aspects of the show.
