What I liked

I loved the characters and their interactions with each other. I also thought the dialogue was very real~ you feel like you are really watching a family. The two grandmothers are particularly strong in their portrayals. All the actors were excellent at telling the story. The story is very moving and poses the question “What if”…different choices would have had a different outcome.

What I didn't like

I’d love to see a “full” production of this show. They did a terrific job with the simple set but there is a lot that could be done with more lighting and sound. This show has a strong foundation and I think it could really soar with full production.

My overall impression

I highly recommend this show. Links is a story about two families and how choices made impact them. I love that that the audience knows the story and it adds to the tension of the play. It’s poignant and touching with the right amount of humor throughout. It’s about the secrets families keep and how they haunt us.
