The dialogue struck the right tone of humor without being too silly. The characters felt real enough to be engaging in 60mins without being over the top, I think that’s really hard to accomplish.
What I didn't like
The argument at the end felt a little textbook. But that is probably just in contrast to the rest, which was top notch.
My overall impression
That was a good time! I was really drawn into the story. I genuinely laughed! I felt like I could have a good conversation with Brandon and I could feel Sean’s longing to get out of there. It was lighthearted but not overly goofy. I left the theatre happier than when I arrived – can’t ask for more than that.
