The songs and music were outstanding. A soundtrack should be released for sure! The main two actors Cameron Conner as the dedicated teacher and Faith Romo as the dedicated student leading the cause for change.
What I didn't like
It was a tad long. Some of the scenes could have been cut and not missed especially side story of the evil Governor and music numbers with the teachers campaign manager. Other than that, the play was educational and enlightening.
My overall impression
Overall I was very impressed with how dedicated the director was in having the cast be diverse (BIPOC and disabled included) and the songs and music written by the director and sang by the cast gave Rent and School of Rock vibes. It was also good to get a lesson in how economic sociology affects the have nots and how that community can stand up for certain causes. ASYLUMJUDGE
