What I liked
I loved the use of instruments in the show! It was such a fun way to engage the crowd by giving them an instrument to respond with. I speak Spanish, so I really loved the bilingual moments and her choice to not always translate everything. I also really enjoyed how she roasted people in the crowd playfully.
What I didn't like
Maybe develop the heartfelt moments more. I was moved because of her powerful acting, but wasn’t exactly sure what the moment was even about.
My overall impression
Medicine Woman is such a fun show! Veronica is a skilled performer who is patient, confident, and playful while interacting with the crowd. Every moment was unpredictable and I was so down for the ride!
