What I liked
I was truly in awe of Joe’s character changes. They were each so specific and unique, though still nuanced and grounded in reality. He knew when he had to dive deep into the drama for the story’s progression and never held back those scary, big emotions when they needed to come out.
What I didn't like
Find a way to get a water bottle on stage somehow because, damn, he’s working his ass off!
My overall impression
A masterclass in solo-show acting! Joe seamlessly transitions from character to character without the need for any major costume or lighting gimmicks to assist. In a split second his face starts to change and you know exactly which character is re-emerging. A thrilling feat of athleticism and empathy.
