My overall impression
Joe Coffey is ELECTRIC. As we journey through Whitey Bulger’s life Joe kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time as he seamlessly transitioned between a family of characters. His energy fills the room and creates the momentum that carries us on a roller coaster of emotions. As for the writing, this solo play deserves to be published. The script along with Joe’s colossal performance makes Bulger Boys a MUST-SEE in this year’s Hollywood Fringe Festival.
