What I liked
This is the most beautiful, funny, powerful, vulnerable and educational performance I’ve seen! Thank you Alyssa for showing us your heart and mind! I thank you for bringing awareness to such a taboo mental disorder, schizophrenia! Your performance is brilliant! Thank you for bringing some lightness to what could be such a heavy disorder. I wish you nothing, but healing. 🫶🏽✨
What I didn't like
Honestly nothing. What I will say is to bring it to a bigger theater/stage where more people can have the honor of attending such a beautiful and real life experience performance by Alyssa. ;
My overall impression
Not gonna lie, the title confused me. I believe I have a loved one that has Schizophrenia and thought, “there’s nothing funny about it.” BUT nonetheless, it intrigued me. After watching, I can say, “WOW! THIS IS A MUST SEE!” I laughed, cried, learned and related to Alyssa’s story SO much!
