What I liked
The acting was excellent, throughout. It seemed well-rehearsed and well-developed with interesting tidbits about the characters scattered throughout.
What I didn't like
I found it interesting that there were two instances where the characters actually consumed a real food, but all the other times, eating and drinking was mimed. If that was intentional to draw attention to these two occasions, then that makes sense, but it took me out of the story a bit to ponder the choice.
My overall impression
A fascinating and immersive portrayal of two well-known personalities. The actors really embodied them well without becoming caricatures. Lindsay Seim’s performance as a fictional amalgamation of women was an important contribution to the interactions between the more famous characters. She played well off of both of them, sometimes acting as a foil, as well as playing one of the men against the other.
