What I liked
Great performances. The Hitchcock impression particularly felt incredible – so dropped in and inhabited. I really bought it! Great themes. Lots of funny moments but also balanced by emotional moments. Loved all the Hitchcock quirks that were written in.
What I didn't like
As someone who isn’t very familiar with Hitchcock or that era of film, I guess I could’ve used just a little more explanation with some of the things that were mentioned. Or even a blurb in the program with some facts or something. But I was still able to follow along the broad strokes, and I learned a lot!
My overall impression
Really interesting, informative play. Made me want to read more about Hitchcock. I had no idea about all of the things mentioned.
