Hell of a Year

What I liked

I loved the storytelling techniques she used. The lighting design and set design were perfectly utilized to frame the narrative. Her performance was incredible. I laughed out loud almost the entire time and yet there were so many heartfelt, gut-punchy, deeply human moments. I loved everything about the show.

What I didn't like

I truly don’t have any notes about the performance itself. I would say the venue could have strong AC? But that’s only because this question is asking me to find something that could be improved. To be completely honest the AC was fine.

My overall impression

This show was honest, hilarious and incredibly resonant. Elli is a powerhouse performer. GO SEE THIS SHOW ASAP!!!
