What I liked
I loved the structure of the piece and the way the story flowed through the months. The minimalist set and casual vibe made it feel more intimate and inviting. Elli’s writing and delivery is hilarious. I enjoyed the colorful ways she switched between characters, and how she continuously drew the audience in by posing a critical question: is it okay to leave a friendship or relationship if it no longer suits you?
What I didn't like
Honestly I wanted it to be longer.
My overall impression
Hysterical, personal, powerful and inquisitive. Elli’s self-awareness and radical acceptance is inspiring. She shares her story in such a fun and gripping way, the year flew by!
