Hell of a Year

What I liked

What I love about this show is that, while it walks the well-worn path of “dissecting trauma” (a fact Elli calls out onstage), it still succeeds in feeling wholly unique with its specificity of voice and character.

What I didn't like

If anything, I would want to see what Elli could do with an extra ten minutes.

My overall impression

A snappy, vibrant show that unpacks codependency and toxic relationships with a refreshingly light and funny voice.
