What I liked
The writing was incredible. I’ve seen quite a few magic storytellers, but Liz’s show stands far above the others. She was fun, funny, and really made a connection with and an impact on the audience in a very short time. Big kudos for an amazing piece.
What I didn't like
I’ve heard about a legendary piece of magic she performs that sadly wasn’t included in this show. I guess I’ll have to keep waiting for this period piece to come back.
My overall impression
Absolutely hilarious, moving, and truly original. I didn’t realize this show would be as amazing as it was. See it now, before the $85 run at the Geffen next year… her magic is great, her storytelling is astounding, and the way she entwines the two is brilliant.
