What I liked
I loved the lighting changes and music accompaniment; it enhanced the emotions of each poem. I was moved to tears by the beautiful writing paired with a masterful performance.
What I didn't like
The speakers in the theater were a bit staticky.
My overall impression
This solo show was unlike any I’ve seen before! It was heartwarming, electric, and genre-bending. I loved how each poem came alive through movement and dance! Ben is a powerful storyteller who is so in-tune with the audience. You feel taken care of my him and trust his ability to tell his story with confidence and intentionality.
