I loved the variety of characters that were introduced by just a few cast members. I played along, and so did the audience. Especially when there were quick changes! A lot of fun.
What I didn't like
I wanted to journey along the tough moments more deeply & thoroughly. When the daughter agreed to allowing her mother to help her, or when she changed from being enraged to amicable – I wanted more of each character’s path to their changes of heart.
My overall impression
Beautiful story about the rocky road of mother-daughter relationships, and the challenges presented to our generations in the modern day world. Yet through our individual ambitions & fuck-ups, family is family. For better or worse, til death do we part. I thoroughly enjoyed the themes presented in Christina’s show as an opportunity to examine my own complicated familial relationships. Thank you for being at the Fringe!
