What I liked

The actors showcase extraordinary range in their abilities (screaming, crying, rock bottom moments, sarcasm, flirting— you name it, they did it!).

This show is a beautiful one about forgiveness and understanding, not only of yourself/your own flaws, but for the loved ones in your life, especially our ever-complex mothers.

What I didn't like

Scene changes were very frequent, and I wanted to breathe in moments a little longer, so I think as the show evolves, consolidating certain scenes will be helpful.

This has nothing to do with the show, but a note on the venue: I sat in the very front row which happens to be directly under a powerful air conditioner, and I deeply regretted not bringing my jacket! lol. So a note to audience members to remember a little something to keep you warm in that venue, no matter how hot it is outside!

My overall impression

This show promised a journey, and it delivered! The cast was absolutely incredible, the writing deeply heartfelt, and the overall story was so beautiful. Mother-daughter stories always get me, but this one truly left a mark on my heart.

Honest, funny, multi-layered— all you can ask for in a story!
