What I liked
I loved the seamless flow and combination of every character throughout. It felt so relatable and real. I found myself empathatizing with so many characters, and invested in their journey.
What I didn't like
I want more. I feel this could easily be fleshed out into another hour. I find myself so curious about the childhood of the mother-daughter duo and how, or if they continue to develop their relationship as they heal.
My overall impression
Before any production, I always hope that it makes me laugh, cry, and think. This production hit the mark on all three. I found myself looking forward to the next scene, occasionally straight up cackling, and even shedding a tear at one scene that felt torn out of my own life.
