Makes me wanna call my Mom and tell her I love her.
What I didn't like
I think some of the scenes could benefit to be condensed into another. There are a lot of scene changes, which usually benefit a screenplay, but for me, restrict the flow of a staged play. Note that this is purely a subjective opinion.
My overall impression
Reminiscent of the early road-trip comedies of the early 2000’s, Road To Nowhere tells the story of an angsty struggling artist who receives a massive opportunity to showcase their art in an exhibition, but must rely on her boy-crazy estranged Mother to drive her there. Comedy ensues and family relationship drama unfolds. Leonard does a great job at selling the main character, with dynamic, flawed qualities.
